Watch Melissa Anthony with Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center “Partnering with Horses”

Melissa Anthony is Development Coordinator with Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center, a Colorado Spring, CO area nonprofit helping children, adults, seniors, service members, and veterans address physical, intellectual, and mental health disabilities and special needs. Melissa role is to ensure funding remains available to continue providing these services to those in need. Joining the Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center (PPTRC) team almost three years ago provided Melissa with the opportunity to combine her love of horses (inherited from her grandfather) with her deep desire to serve her fellow humans. Melissa will never forget the very first testimonial she heard from a veteran who experienced firsthand the astounding impact a PPTRC therapy horse named J.D. had on his life. Recalling the veteran’s words still brings a tear to her eye to this very day.
