My former bandmates of Vetted and I feel like the world needs to hear this song. This was the first song that we all wrote together. It’s a mantra we all have lived by. At no point in our military career has leaving anyone behind been an option.
After a 36 hour drive, some Jeep trouble and spending the night in a Chattanooga O’Reilly’s parking lot. I hadn’t been in Houston for more than 20 minutes. They showed me this music piece they had came up with and asked me to write a melody and lyrics pertaining to that very mantra.
We refined it polished it, and my good friend @johnmoyerbass produced it in @orbstudiosatx in Austin, Tx. This song was born from a few combat veterans in 2015. It’s something most military men and women have lived by since the beginning.
