It was my distinct honor and privilege to interview Lt. Col. Scott Gerber 3rd Squadron 3ACR Commander at the Najaf, Iraq Airport after the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Col Gerber talked about his troops, about those who sadly will not be coming home (he talks about how Patriot Guard Riders and other Americans back home in Kansas and Missouri honored their Fallen Ft Riley Hero at his funeral).. He talks about the great job his troops and the PRT did, about the importance that the care packages and letters from home have been and much more.
