ABOUT 1SGT Jeremy Lynn
“I am originally from Waynesville, MO and joined the Air Force directly from high school in 1997. I started in the Air Force as an Aircraft Fuel Systems Specialist on the C-130, A-10, F-15, and F-16 aircraft.
Following this I completed a tour of duty as a Military Training Instructor, training the new basic trainees. After that I began flying on the C-130 E/H aircraft as a Flight Engineer.
My final position was as a First Sergeant in technical training at Lackland AFB, TX. This particular position led me to understand more about my passion of wanting to help others with their needs. I got many opportunities to get involved in the private lives of the Airmen under my charge and help them through some of their worst situations.
This position prompted me to pursue my Master’s in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio.
During my schooling I was afforded the opportunity to intern at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic, where I would counsel military veterans and their families. As I neared graduation and retirement, this organization gave me another great opportunity to stay on and continue training to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
With a great job in place, I can fully settle into one area with my wife, Jenni and my son Fabian.
