My name is StacEy Chia. I’m a 2004 high school Graduate. I have been editing videos for more than a few years now and I plan to continue my learning. The best part about editing videos is the amount of fun I have.
I find joy in being able to put videos together, make them look presentable, and get the satisfaction at the end I was aiming for. I started editing videos when a friend of mine online showed me one of his from a video game. I was so inspired that I decided to give it a go. Of course, when I attempted to do so I got beyond frustrated with the shear amount of options this program had for use. Lets just say it wasn’t a beginners program.
After many hours of practice and a lot of patience, I started getting the hang of it and it became more fun that I could have imagined. Now, I love it. And I even opened a new website: www.MimooMedia.com
I met Bob Calvert (www.TalkingWithHeroies.com) through my Father-In-Law, Eric Chia. (www.chiaweb.com) I never thought, in a million years, that someone would want to use the skills I was playing with for fun, to make a difference in the world.
Bob approached me about editing videos for his project on TalkingWithHeroes. I more than agreed and I was definitely honored that he chose me.
As of now, I’m doing miscellaneous video projects and even making my first DVD! All in all, I’m a very happy girl having met these wonderful people, and doing one of the things I love the most.
