We will talk with Major Clint Hanna LIVE from Afghanistan. Major Hanna is with Ft Carsons 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division serving in Afghanistan as the Brigade Civil Military Operations Officer
Major Hanna currently leads a staff of 16 Army, Navy and civilian personnel, provides oversight and guidance to 14 Battalion-size subordinate commands and advises the Brigade Commander on Civil Military Operations over a four province region of North-east Afghanistan. He will talk about Progress in the areas in Afghanistan they are serving in.

Major Clint Hanna is assigned to the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division as the Brigade Civil Military Operations Officer.
The 4th Brigade is stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado and currently forward deployed in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
MAJ Hanna served as an Infantry Non-Commissioned Officer in the Marine Corps from 1983 to 1989.
In 1994 MAJ Hanna enlisted in the Army Reserve as a Mandarin Linguist.
He graduated from the University of California – Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with an emphasis in South-East Asian Political Science in June 1996.
MAJ Hanna received a Direct Commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Ordnance Corps in January 1997 and subsequently served as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in the 163rd Ordnance Company (Ammunition).
MAJ Hanna was selected to serve as the Aide-de-Camp for Major General John Scott, Commanding General of the 63rd Regional Support Command from 1999-2000.
From 2000-2003 MAJ Hanna Commanded the 329th Quartermaster Company until he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom-I.
From August 2003 to November 2004 MAJ Hanna served as the Civil Military Operations Officer for the 44th Corps Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division throughout Iraq.
MAJ Hanna Commanded a second Company, 968th Quartermaster Company, from 2004-2006.
From 2006-2009 MAJ Hanna was assigned as a Special Operations Civil Affairs Officer with the 97th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC, as a South-east Asian specialist, fluent in Indonesian.
During this time he was stationed in Cambodia and Bangladesh in support of Humanitarian Assistance missions.
In January 2009, MAJ Hanna relocated to Fort Carson, Colorado and assumed his current duties.

Among MAJ Hanna’s awards are the Department of State Meritorious Honor Award, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (6th Award) and the Iraq Campaign Medal.
