I interviewed more than 40 soldiers, plus several Afghans, and they took me on a mission.
The troops asked me to get these videos online and do everything possible to get their stories out to millions. It will take just a few minutes of your time to participate in this call to action and also promote your programs.

"Like" the videos, leave a comment and bookmark them on social websites, to help spread them.

As I view these videos I can only cry and have goose bumps. I cry because these are areas that my husband has been at the beginning of the war and amazingly I have pictures of these areas when there was nothing there and to see how far it has come is amazing. She says: I live in Maine just north of Bangor. I am a friend of Bob's. I graduated HS in 1968 in Boston ; just at the time when we watched the Vietnam War on TV at night seeing the death toll rise and rise. I remember attending the Boston Peace Rally in Boston Common.
I am a total history buff (freak) and became extremely interested in all wars, battles, and our veterans during and after their service. My husband served in Vietnam and always had nightmares. He never went for any help for his mental health. My husband was murdered in 2006 and I witnessed it in our home. I did not work after that and suffer from chronic PTSD.
Now, living alone and not working I turned to my passion of our veterans on my computer (of which I'm very inept) ,to help and support them in any way. I talk to every Veteran with a Purple Heart plate or a Veterans hat and talk to them for a few minutes. They really enjoy having someone to listen to them and to have someone thank them for their service. And, of course, the Bangor Troop Greeters where I hug every one of them and and say I am honored to meet them.
I joined Soldiers Angels and joined different programs. I adopt soldiers to write to and send care packages , and also write to soldiers who come home wounded and thank them, and also write and send packages to soldiers who we hear may be discouraged, depressed, or receive no mail. These soldiers are very important. On FB I try my best to help any Veteran's cause I can. It is my passion and it feels so good to help even in a small way every day, and since I'm alone now it gives me a tremendous feeling in my heart. It makes me feel as good as they do knowing someone cares about them. The help that our soldiers need increases daily. God Bless Them.
